Participants in email discussions are always tempted to pontificate.
I would not take such categorical prouncements too seriously.
Content inspection is for most sites a *necessary* evil. In a more
perfect world with no malicious adversaries we'd not need it. In
the real world we do, and the benefits substantially exceed the
costs. Choose your content inspection tools with care.
