-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hi together, Currently the manpage of `main.cf` states
mail_owner (default: postfix) The UNIX system account that owns the Postfix queue and most Postfix daemon processes. Specify the name of an unprivileged user account that does not share a user or group ID with other accounts, and that owns no other files or processes on the system. In particular, don't specify nobody or daemon. PLEASE USE A DEDICATED USER ID AND GROUP ID. When this parameter value is changed you need to re-run "postfix set-permissions" (with Postfix version 2.0 and earlier: "/etc/postfix/post-install set-permissions". This causes the following questions: * which "GROUP ID" the section - and the whole rest of the manpage BTW - doesn't say anything about groups * if a group ought to be specified, how to do that? Separator, specify property twice, etc.? Manpages should never cause questions!! - -Kalle -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1 iQEcBAEBAgAGBQJUJkUqAAoJEGadKJ8eJ7ZG4yAH+QEXt7GzbTHzvyGtEEWx3dNZ cMCo/AMRu2S4sNkbiu2Fzid/y5fsf9PvkNED0g4H6xiok/w2AU/V2uDsIZ+46jsq uMu6LUBE/tJGPojgY2DbOpSNSEecGogJNXyjxt3Xl+J32Dl7D1ig7yo84MLB1yeB CzAsWdM9zDslcf/Ul0pPXdpfozP6aSpsaFRvYvTn4DPNZYIr6QPfiRF8y5fByDXf OIkFL0dW6wuuE9V/eWP32Cux1IJh5jHPJGojQpvfui0NJ3C629qvOV6Zvo/P0B+A Lj9IJhYPlpRUh4jlcA9+bFxlHWuhw+j25d3a0wyl7rSx7FNZM3+FPBhqmyqWzjU= =dKsI -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
