Yes, you are correct. The RFC goes on to show examples that use Received, and various strictures about handling trace headers make it plausible that you could use it. I don't even think it's a very bad idea, but it's certainly rare. Note, too, that From and Subject appear in there twice, even though both headers only appear once in the message. Again, this is permissible and can be verified properly, but... what? -- rjbs
