How do I make the SMTP Greetings Banner to display the remote client's IP

This is not supported in postfix.

Do you have some compelling need for this, or is this just cosmetic?

What if I added this somehow / somewhere after typing EHLO for example? Will
that also not work will it? SMTP Greetings Banner will respond as per
regular practice and then let's say the user would type EHLO from the
connected host and the host the user is being connected to would say the
user's IP and server's name (remote client's IP and server's name)? For
instance, "Hello <user's server name> on <user's IP>. Welcome to $mail_name.
Please, do not spam." Not supported as well? Thank you.

what do you gain with that?

* the ordinary user never will see it
* the tech user with telnet knows how to get that infos
* the spammer don't bother about "Please, do not spam"

it's not more worth than disclaimers in email signatures
