For the record, this is not a new idea, I don't recall who suggested it first, but it has been around for a while: http://postfix.1071664.n5.nabble.com/Technical-question-to-Postfix-td52133.html#a52188 Dovecot has some sort of "quota-status" service that could perhaps also be used in some fashion. -- Viktor.
