Why do you need a backup MX? Usually MSAs will queue for a while (4 days
seems a common default due to language in the smtp RFCs) or the senders
will get a bounce notice. If you have different policies on your primary
MX and the backup then the backup will often just become a backdoor for
spammers looking to bypass any measures you may have in place,
especially when it's a free one size fits all service where you don't
control much of anything.
