Just a thought, as to why the OP replied direct to you - mayhap the reply that the OP composed, defaulted to Reply To sender, rather than Reply To list, and this was overlooked by the OP?
My reply is written in Thunderbird, which has two options; Reply (to sender) and Reply List - mayhap, if the OP faced the same options, the OP chose (perhaps, inadvertently) Reply (to sender) rather than Reply List?
