My apologies, Paul! You are correct re: dashes not dots. I cut/pasted
without paying attention, I'm afraid. 🙁
I originally ran dig on my desktop through my local ISP's DNS as a
cross-check on the domain and did get
bcs-hants-sch-uk.mail.protection.outlook.com. Also on the mail server
(in terminal) with same results, although it did take over a second to
resolve. On another server it took approc 200 ms. So I'm now wondering
if the problem is resolution time.
Is there a time-to-wait value I can set? Can't seem to find one either
in ubound nor postfix.
Forgot to mention, I get several mail rejections over a short space of
time (a client is sending out to his address book).
Ubound is set to ipv4 only.
