utf-8 is 7bit, so no

The same is true for HTML entries, many news mails have utf8 and qoutedprintble, and always its HTML, hmm:)

there is too many encoding standards to use them all, while roundcube try to keep it all 7bit mime, while if 8bit is used it encode it as 8bitmime, 8bit mime is not always desired like as when maillists users do post HTML to maillists as it was a web page designer
