In cases where all recipient addresses undergo some form of virtual or local alias rewriting before being handed off for delivery to dovecot, you can arrange for the address extension to be dropped during rewriting if not needed for non-default delivery "folder" selection. I have: propagate_unmatched_extensions = which means that extensions are dropped during both virtual(5) alias and local aliases(5) expansion. But I also use virtual(8), rather than Dovecot LMTP, to deliver mail to IMAP users and the virtual(8) delivery agent also knows how to deal with address extensions. So there are many choices, including configuring Dovecot to recognise extensions, but that's a question for the dovecot list as already suggested. -- Viktor. _______________________________________________ Postfix-users mailing list -- postfix-users@postfix.org To unsubscribe send an email to postfix-users-le...@postfix.org
