I am always fearing those upgrades…. As mentioned in an earlier mail, we've
upgraded our server from PHP 5.3.12 to 5.3.27… Having solved an issue with an
"ERROR: function postgis_version() does not exist", I have know another
problem:
When executing:
/usr/local/pgsql/bin/pgsql2shp -u ss_admin -f countries geodataportal
countries_view
I get:
Initializing...
Done (postgis major version: 2).
Output shape: Polygon
Dumping: XInvalid endian flag value encountered.
And the shapefile has nothing to display while the attribute table is empty.
I saw a discussion on Postgis on fixing this, but it wasn't it seems.
So, what's the problem, and how can I solve it?
