You will need to use PostGIS 2.x (currently 2.1). If you have one or more existing databases that use PostGIS, then before upgrading, be sure to see the "hard upgrade" instructions to dump your database(s): http://postgis.net/docs/postgis_installation.html#hard_upgrade
After dumping your v1.5 database(s), you can upgrade to a more recent version of PostGIS. There are several options, such as compiling from source. The easiest is to use the PGDG Apt repository, with instructions at http://wiki.postgresql.org/wiki/Apt After installing the v2.x version of PostGIS, then complete the remaining steps in the hard upgrade procedure. -Mike On 14 May 2014 01:00, dandrigo <[email protected]> wrote: > Dear all, > > Currently, on my debian server i have postgresql 9.1 and postgis 1.5.3.2, > > I have to work with postgis raster. > > 1/ Is there a way in order to install postgis raster with my current postgis > 1.5.3.2 > > 2/ If it's not the case, i am obliged to install postgis 2.0?
