I've installed pgadmin3 1.6.3 from rpm, under Fedora 7
It runs ok, *except* when the tables have geometry fields! :O
When one tries to open/view the table it takes **forever** to display

Maybe it's a bug in the rpm package, I have the same version of
pgadmin3 working installed from packages on Arch Linux and built from
sources on Slackware 11 and don't have that problem. Have you tried to
build it from sources?
BTW, did somebody try to build it from source in Ubuntu?
