Hello.
I have generated a .SQL file with shp2pgsql command. The problem is than some
of the polygons are very big (have a lot of coordinates defining the border and
the islands). So the INSERT sentence of these polygons is very big. I have 2
installations of PostgreSQL/PostGIS. In one machine there are no problems when
loading this file (by psql o with pgAdmin III). But in the second machine, I
have the error:
ERROR: geometry requires more points
Estado SQL:XX000
I have PostgreSQL 8.2.5/PostGIS in both machines. In the first machine I have
4Gby RAM. In the second (the one with the problem), 1 Gby RAM.
Any suggestions ?
