Hi Peter, Thanks for the feedback. This has been fixed by Paul's last documentation commit here http://postgis.refractions.net/pipermail/postgis-commits/2007-December/000195.html, and as you can see, it now appears correctly at http://postgis.refractions.net/docs/ch02.html so the fix will appear in future releases.
