Is there a FOSS equivalent to ArcGIS Server /
publishing out geoprocessing *tasks*? Or does ESRI
have something unique in that regard?
Don't know if ArcGIS Server tasks can be "consumed" by
anything other than Arc* clients (e.g. ArcGIS Explorer
/ Globe or ArcMap), or ESRI run-time one-off clients.
