Hi Andreas, Sounds like an escaping problem - have you got mis-matched apostrophes somewhere in the file close to the where the error is reported? Also which version of PostgreSQL/PostGIS are you using? You may need to check the setting of standard_conforming_strings in postgresql.conf.
