Can anyone help with the following errors? My IT person is doing an install of
postgis 1.3.5 on a rhel5 machine with postgresql 8.0 already installed(came
with rhel5). I already tested postgresql and the database is working.
Here's the lengthy error code. And I have some more error code that I've
attached that my IT person sent me. Does anyone have ideas on why this is not
installing properly? Thanks!!
required c++ compiler to be installed so I did that.
Now configure process gets further but is still bombing out.

about requires postgresSQL. With the earlier error one could see exactly
what postGIS configure was testing. This one just aborts with a non-zero
exit code.
