Hi,
Is there a reason why the “aggregate” functions might not appear to be
immediately loaded on installing PostGIS? I’m was looking for ST_Extent
in particular from which i realised the set are not shown on my
installation.
My apologies is this is a basic question, i’m new to the list and wasn’t
sure of an easy way (apart from looking for matches from google) to
search the archives – any tips would be much appreciated!

Hi Andy,
Possibly; I have a feeling we've had a report of this from when an
upgrade from an older version of PostGIS went wrong in the past, rather
than being a vanilla new install. Does this sound like it could be your
situation?
