Probably an obvious thing, but.....Why would I use an ST_ fucntion versus a non ST_ function? For example (in Postgis 1.3.3, I haven't had a chance to upgrade yet) there is a AsGeom() and a ST_AsGeom() function. Both seem to return the same results. Which one should I use?
