I see others have quickly answered your question now you have supplied the
detail they needed.
All the best.

Thanks Simon, I did mean the coordinates of the MBR for each
MULTIPOLYGON, but honestly I just need a place on the map to stick a
push pin so I can show a user where the polygon is. Basically this is
a bunch of parcel data that was a shapefile and now it is a table in
Postgres. I have a client application that allows the user to sort by
several attributes in the table and I need to be able to show the
results of where the data actually is on a map.

Robert,

What do you mean by "corner coordinates"?

Do you mean the 4 corners of the MBR of each MULTIPOLYGON or do you mean
that each MULTIPOLYGON is some sort of a collection of rectangular polygons
and you want the corners of each of the rectangles?

Hi all, I have a table full of MULTIPOLYGON features and I am looking
for a way to parse the geometry from a given row and get back the
corner coordinates in decimal degrees. Is there a stored procedure for
this?

Thanks!
