The problem is that you have built against a higher GEOS than you have
installed on your system. Well, actually you probably have two versions
installed in your system, it's just that PostGIS is finding the lower one
at runtime. Run 'ldd' on postgis.so to see what libgeos is being picked up
and then get rid of it so that the newer one takes priority.
