after going through the documentaion i didnt find any function that will automatically identify and distinguish waterbody , forest , raods and building and class them together in a raster table(image imported )like it is done in ARCGIS. it would have been very good idea if the unsupervised classification function was there in postgis.......The ST_Reclass function just allow to do grouping of pixels however i want to write a algorithm that will automatically identify and distinguish water,forest , building...etc
