Howdy, I think it's worth pointing out that potlatch2 now has a build system (based on Ant, if you're interested). The best bit about this - and in fact the whole reason behind it - is that it incorporates build numbers.
If you click on the "Help" button you can see both the version number (currently 0.4) and the build number of the release. For example, geowiki.com is currently running build 24075, and the one on Dave's dev space is build 24079. If you have your own deployment of p2 you might want to check the build numbers, and if your version doesn't show build numbers then I suggest an upgrade! For users/testers, if you find that something works on one copy of p2 but not on another, having the build versions available will help us figure out what's going on. The build numbers are also added to the changeset when saving.
