Hi,
it's not possible to merge ways. In earlier versions it was possible to
merge 2 ways to 1. Because sometimes it's necessary to split one way in
two and so it should be possible to merge this two parts. Sometimes there
are 2 parts and while mapping you find out that they belong together.
Maybe two forests or so. To make one forest, one part neets to be
remapped.
