In addition, the Flash player on Linux - or maybe only some Flash players
in some Browsers - tends to be a bit slow with the result that a quick
mouse move across a densely mapped area leads to a funny "mouse tail"
effect, where the highlight takes a second or two to slowly move through
all the objects until it reaches the mouse.
