#4607: "natural=water" is rendered in P2's simple view as "lake" instead of something more generic -------------------------+---------------------------- Reporter: SomeoneElse | Owner: potlatch-dev@… Type: defect | Status: new Priority: trivial | Milestone: Component: potlatch2 | Version: Keywords: | -------------------------+---------------------------- Lots of things other than lakes are tagged "natural=water". When a mapper sees one of these (e.g. a pond) represented in P2's simple view as a "lake", they're going to want to "fix" it.
This was logged in P1 as #2117 , and fixed there by using "water" instead of "lake". It's also part of the issue described in #4510 . Also, this help question: https://help.openstreetmap.org/questions/16658/whats-the-size-of-a-large- body-of-water seems motivated by any "natural=water" appearing as "lake" in simple view. -- Ticket URL: <https://trac.openstreetmap.org/ticket/4607> OpenStreetMap <http://www.openstreetmap.org/> OpenStreetMap is a free editable map of the whole world _______________________________________________ Potlatch-dev mailing list Potlatch-dev@openstreetmap.org http://lists.openstreetmap.org/listinfo/potlatch-dev
