OK

Perhaps using rose ball joints for the links , they are threaded so toe can be
adjusted by screwing them further on or off , and ball joints so they swivel
easily horizontal and vertical perhaps 8mm link rod. Put nut on bar to lock up
tight. Suspend steering on single bolt central to allow for vertical left right
movement (see-saw) so we don't get the issue of only three wheels in contact
with uneven road surface using plate or steel angle under front chassis to
spread weight across wooden base.

That won't work. Have a look at how RC cars do it. It's similar, but they
have a left and right linkage rather than a solid link between the two. That
way it's also adjustable, as you want to be able to adjust the toe. Toe out is
more stable but slightly slower, but should be better and the way to go for
this, but it means we're more free to test.

Hi guys,

So we've got the wheels.

Next: Steering.

Rack and pinion?

Something else?

If it's rack and pinion, do we need to get one made or is this a reclaim job?

Thoughts?
