Hi, it doesn't work. I think there is a loopback in the redirection.
But my request was false, too. The user should be directed to http://www.name1.de/index.php?article_id=2 I changed the redirection clause to "Redirect http://www.name1.de/index.php?article_id=2" and now it works for me. Thanks. Roughly: Service "name2" HeadRequire "Host:[ \t]*(www\.)?name2\.de$" Redirect "http://www.name2.de/index.php?article_id=foo" End In other words - the name2 service just redirects the user. The name1 service is what actually handles the backend proxying. Before you ask, "can't I do the proxying without the redirect in name2?" ... sure, just use mod_rewrite on the backend and set up name2 the same as name1.
