Hello!
I am playing around with pound for the first time today and have a very
simple newbie question. For testing purposes I have kept Apache running
on port 80 and have put pound listening on port 33200. Here is my
pound.conf file:

Address 1.2.3.4
Port 80

#-----------------------
This is all that is in my config file for pound. All I am doing here is
testing to see that pound simply does a pass through to port 80.
Nothing more.
So here is my problem. I am running cPanels on a VPS that hosts several
sites. Let's say that one of those sites is pound_example.info. So
http://pound_example.info works just fine. The problem is that when I
do http://pound_example.info:33200 the website does not come up. What
comes up is a general cpanels website.
I think what is going on here is that somehow pound is stripping off the
domain pound_example.info such that the proper virtual host is not being
invoked. In other words,
<VirtualHost *>
ServerName ip-1234.net
</VirtualHost>
or
<VirtualHost 1.2.3.4:80>
ServerName ip-1234.net
</VirtualHost>
are being run and not
<VirtualHost 1.2.3.4:80>
ServerName pound_example.info
</VirtualHost>
as it does normally. What is going on here and how can I fix it?
