Jorge,

Thank you again.  I got this working by putting the .key and .crt into a
.pem file for the Cert variable and used CAlist for the .cabundle file. 
This fixed the problem below and now pound starts with no issue.  Still
having some issues with the certificate not looking right to the
browser, but this solved the problem I emailed about.
