I suppose you could take the 2.6 source rpm, explode it, integrate the source
code changes that were mentioned on the list earlier, then rebuild the rpm. I
am not sure that's better then building from source, though it gives you a
version managed by yum / rpm. But on my CentOS box configure had a problem
with the openssl library and I decided to move to the 2.7 version since that
is where development is going.
My pound config is pretty simple so I don't expect a problem with 2.7, it's
just that the app served up is our timekeeping system, which is pretty
important and in a rollout university wide.

Hello Kirk,
Thanks for the response.
But the rpm is for the 2.7 Pound version, I need the version 2.6, because
2.7 is a beta version. Anyway, I will test in the labs.
I need fix this issue in production with urgency, is there a quicker way?
Thank you.
Best Regards.**

Hi Luiz,
I did an rpmbuild --rebuild of the .src rpm offered by invoca.ch on CentOS
5.11 but I need to bring up a test environment that really models my
production before I can rollout. From what I can see 2.7 is considered beta
code. Here's the source rpm link.
