For Debian 7 (wheezy) - there will be some backports soon - I'm the
maintainer of pound in debian and am currently trying to finish the
packages off and get them in... Hopefully the backports version should
be in over the weekend, and there may be a wheezy-security version
coming soon with less changes.

Not noticed anything - the company I work for also support pound, so
we've actually got a very close to what'll hit wheezy backports version
in production use for a number of customers.
