Hi list,
I'm using Pound for the first time and need some help. My box should serve two sites, for now. Let's consider only the first site. If I don't use Pound, but just the Hiawatha web server, everything seems to be working fine. And by everything, I mean: naked domain redirected to www.domain and http redirected to https for login pages My problem is that I could not yet replicate this behavior using Pound with Hiawatha as a backend. Should the redirect from http to https be done in Pound or in the Hiawatha backend? And the redirect from naked domain to www.domain? What works best? >From what I've tried, the most problematic is when the access is made through https://nakeddomain Sometimes, I get a message saying that the redirects never end. Although I've read the man page several times, I'd like to ask if I'm correct: 1. If the naked to www. and http to https are done in Pound, how to implement the Redirect directive? 2. When using the HTTPS directive for the backend, does this mean that no SSL is dealt in Pound? 3. How to deal with the HeadRemove "X-Forwarded-For", AddHeader "X-Forwarded-Proto: https" and RewriteLocation for my case? If possible that someone could 'translate' these in english adapted to my case would be great! ;-) Luis
