THis log message is related with the backend check Alive directive, it tries to do a tcp connection every "Alive" seconds in order to check if the backend is resurrected, If you have several pounds running or several services in the same pound you are not able to detect what backend is being checked.
Our syslog also show those messages, for us they are very useful. BTW I propose to increase the level detail of those log messages. 2017-07-21 16:31 GMT+02:00 Alexander Kolodziej < alexander.kolodz...@tactel.se>: > Of course, the subject should read: large peaks of "connect_nb: error > after getsockopt: Connection refused" in the logs > > Forgot to say, using pound v2.7 > > -- > Alexander Kolodziej > Pattern Matchician, Tactel AB > Phone: +46761452104 > Email: alexander.kolodz...@tactel.se > > On 2017-07-21 16:23, Alexander Kolodziej wrote: > >> connect_nb: error after getsockopt: Connection refused >> > > > -- > To unsubscribe send an email with subject unsubscribe to pound@apsis.ch. > Please contact ro...@apsis.ch for questions. > -- Load balancer distribution - Open Source Project http://www.zenloadbalancer.com Distribution list (subscribe): zenloadbalancer-supp...@lists.sourceforge.net
