Hi All, I've found that when Powerpro is running, and i've got a number of scheduled message boxen onscreen, if powerpro crashes (for one reason or another), when i reload powerpro, all the scheduled messages (and their related events) that were being displayed have disappeared.
Eg, i have a reminder "Backup Windows" that runs every 4 hours. If the event has fired and the message box is onscreen, and powerpro then crashes, on reloading, that event will have been removed from Powerpro Scheduler. I can understand the logic of why this happens: an event that has fired had "expired", and if you set it to fire again in say "6 hours", then you create a new event. However, instead of removing old events immediately on firing, couldn't we somehow get powerpro to log that events had fired but had not been closed, before a crash interrupted things? If detected, PP would reload the old scheduled messages and show/fire them on next restart. Just an idea, not a biggee, and i guess a config backup would fix the problem, but just a bit irritating. Love this program btw. V ------------------------ Yahoo! Groups Sponsor ---------------------~--> Yahoo!
