Alan Martin has suggested creating two new plugins from the current registry plugin. ini.dll will handle ini access (with additional services to copy and delete sections, delete keys, etc). reg.dll will handle registry access. I'll continue to support registry.dll (combined in and registry access) for backward compatibility. Any new services added to ini.dll or reg.dll will also be added to registry.dll. New and altered plugins should be available in a week or two.
Alan M points out registry.dll's ability to set either long variable names (like rg_status) and x variables (like x3) makes plugin documentation more complex and harder to understand. So I'm wondering about dropping x-variable support from reg.dll and ini.dll. Anyone still using x-variables anywhere at all? ------------------------ Yahoo!
