What techniques are there for building/adding buttons onto bars? I know there is *Format item xxx Where you can hide/show items on a bar, but you have to specify the item numbers in the commandlist (which change, as you import more items into the commandlist).
There is also *Bar SelectSubbar, but that is only effective when you have one subbar you want to show. If you want to show, or hide multiple subbars on the fly, there is the restriction: <exerpt from help file> "to show the subbar called PartBar on bar xxx. All other subbars are hidden." Now with .ini configs, I'm thinking of having a single bar that is very simple, that you can then load onto that bar timer.ini, programs, ini, news display.ini etc. If you have an existing bar, how would you add it to and take away from the bar on the fly though? You could add items to a commandlist, but that makes it more difficult to track removing that bar when there are several. You could pseudo-build bar, by positioning new bars to the right of the existing bar, but how would you track the end of the bar though? The end of the bar might not be the same if you already have one item on it. Anyone implemented something like this and have any other ideas?
