Running v.3.8.16, enable standardconfiguration (so \r\n becomes the line
terminator) and do:
do("*dos *hide echo line | 2ppvar gvxxx","")
sets gvxxx="line 'r'n" this is because 2ppvar hardwires 'r'n as the line
terminator.
Powerpro issue: future plugins would be better invoke a powerpro service
that returns the line terminator, rather than hardwiring 'r'n. Does
powerpro provide such service?
