I might have missed this this stuff already being discussed, wasn't
really paying attention during the standard config discussion....

Given SC, what's to become of all the existing scripts in the file
section of the forum that almost by defintion can't be in SC (because
they were created in an era when e.g. "\" wasn't the escape character?

I'm happy to rewrite any of my submitted scripts, but would probably
only bother if they're in use. Any way to find out which scripts are
in use?

Would it be sensible to mark existing scripts in the file section of
the forum as [SC], [non-SC], [pre-SC] (for benefit of new users,
people who've been around forever will already have what scripts they
need and presumably not be downloading old scripts)? Maybe there's
another catagory [SC irrelevant] for those scripts that use no
features affected by it.

Would it be sensible to mark newly submitted scripts as [SC] or [non-
SC]?

Even more ambitiously, can anyone be bothered to determine if any
submited scripts are orphaned (submitter no longer around) and
determine whetere they are non-SC in a way that
matters? Thre's something like 50 entries in
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/power-pro/files/Scripts/
not an insurmountable number to mark.
