I'm not giving up, this is driving me crazy ! - version 3.8 works fine -
3.8.18 is not I may not be clear about this, or these PCs are possessed !
I want the option to never have the alarm be on top.
If I change the settings where [on top] is not selected for both the
individual message and as the global setting [show alarm message windows on
top], I want it to stay that way.
Try only this portion of steps - see if the box [on top] is being checked or
populated ? when checking the properties of alarm after resetting/recycling
alarm
choose-> menu (Utility launch menu)
goTo -> configure - scheduler (tab) - Setup
clear option to " show alarm message windows on top"
no other changes - save your settings
choose-> menu (Utility launch menu)
goTo -> add Reminder MSG
set the interval at least to 5 min
box for "on top" should be cleared no other changes - save your
settings
when alarm goes off - [OK] reset/recycle alarm
choose-> menu (Utility launch menu)
goTo -> configure - scheduler (tab)
find the alarm and choose edit - note what the "on top" box status is
it should not be checked - but mine are being filled in for me?
are you able to duplicate this ?
going back to 3.8 if you are not able to duplicate and will drop this thread
- unless I discover reason for it?
thanks for all your help - dave

Sorry, I cannot duplicate this still. I don't know why it happens
consistently for you.
