Hi, Markus.

I understand and agree with your attitude. It's not worth the hassle.
But...

- It is called "Windows PowerPro" simply because it runs on Windows. And
there is a site about fishing called PowerPro and someone (Bruce?) decided
that putting "Windows" before the name would solve that problem. That's
all. No one here is trying to use their product's name to sell something
else.

- PowerPro is not even sold. It's freeware.

- PowerPro can't possibly be stealing any business from Microsoft.
Actually, one MUST be running Windows before one can run PowerPro. So we
could even argue that PowerPro *encourages* people to use Windows.

So, Markus, before we start calling Microsoft names, just let me know the
following: did you even try to reason with them, with any of the points I
just mentioned or any other one, or did you just agree with them right
away? I'm not judging you. I'm just curious. This story is so ludicrous. My
guess is that they have a very long list of domains that have "windows" in
the name and just go about sending threats to all of their owners
wholesale. Maybe if you sent them a short reply pointing out why their
claim is pointless they would leave you alone.

Now, less seriously, have you checked if windozepowerpro.com and
winblowspowerpro.com are available? They're just asking for it. ;-)

I wonder if Jobs and his thugs would ever get on someone's case just for
owning the macpowerpro.com domain. I don't think so.

Thank you for hosting the site. We're all sorry to hear from you after so
long only to find you in this awkward situation.
