Every statement must begin with a literal command,
not with an expression for a command.
For example:
window close calculator
;; result: closes the calculator
var1 = "window close calculator"
var1
;; result: Error. File not found var1
do(var1,"")
;; result: closes the calculator
That's one of the major purposes for the "do()" command.
It executes a non-literal expression which resolves to a command.
You already know the other major purpose for do()
which is to allow non-literal expressions as parameters,
for commands which expect literal params
when they are not wrapped in do()
var2 = calculator
do("window close",var2)
