By the way
I just tested the case of using an associated document file,
such as: %windir%\name.txt
or: c:\windows\name.txt
in the Command field, with no parameter.

It always correctly shows the icon of the associated exe,
with or without an %envar%,
with or without a space in the name,
with or without quotes.

I just thought I'd mention that as one more case to test for
if you try different code.
Retrieving the icon of the exe in the Command field
would not work in that case.
But I guess you already thought of that.
