I now noticed you said about a particular proggy "firefox". Then, this is not the issue of the virtual desktop, it's the way how firefox works. Firefox seems to register always only one instance in Task Manager, regardless of how many instances are opened. Maybe there could be an option in firefox to change this behaviour that I'm not aware of. Sean ------------------------ Yahoo!
