I think of commandlists as a lists of commands that are used either to: Show as bar Show as Menu Run as script commands Note, that on any commandlist you can do any or all of these things all at once. With your Format commands that are EndSubBar, or EndSubMenu....depending on how you are showing a commandlist will depend on weither commands are used or not. Ie. If you have a StartSubBar...it will only be functionally active if you are showing that commandlist as a bar.
