Super! Can you also provide some way (maybe just experimental for now) to 
transfer control to a user-defined script when an error occurs, instead of 
putting up the 'press cancel to end all running scripts' or the 'press ok 
to abort and start config' dialogs. Perhaps you could require that the 
user script returns 1 to tell pp to perform the current cleanups that it 
performs now under those dialogs, or 0 to skip the cleanups as if the user 
had pressed 'no/continue'. I can see two avenues opening up once this 
mechanism is available; localization of error processing in other 
languages, and ppro scripters actually figuring out how to better/more 
suitably process errors.
