Two problems: I'm using the browserURL variable to run url-dependent scripts, but I'm getting inconsistent results from it.
When you call it, I thought that it would have the value f the frontmost Explorer window. That's usually what happens, but a user is finding that it doesn't always work. Can someone on the programming side advise? Also, to get round the above problem I'm issuing a Alt-D and copying the url to the clipboard. I'd like to restore the contents of the clipboard after I've extracted the data, but there seems to be no way to save the non-text parts of the clipboard and restore them later. Also, I'm having a few problems with Clip calls in scripts; Clip ClearClip gives an error Clip TextAppend &(data) seems to only copy back the first line of the variable Ta! -------------------------------- Owen Watson Wellington, New Zealand ------------------------ Yahoo!
