As near as I know, Yahoo needs to make sure that you get choked on 
the ads you need to see while searching, so they broke the search.

The other thing you can try is to download KeyNote and then download 
the complete KeyNote file with all of the lists mail messages in it.  
Searching with KeyNote is easy.  Since updates to the KeyNote file 
aren't done immediately, you can get by wdith just a little Yahoo 
searching, or keep the recent stuff in you mail client and search 
with that, until you have your new KeyNote file.  You can get that 
stuff near here: http://www.pcrei.com/ppro/files/  I think that 
Nathan is the one who is kind enough to do this.  Many thanks to him 
(or whoever) is doing it as it is wonderful!
