A>> Here, there's no need to set IE as the default browser A>> for the following to work: A>> Command: "C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe" A>> Parameter: http://powerpro.webeddie.com/download/ T> Thanks. I hadn't thought of this approach. I was trying T> to use the *Exec commands to do it. Is there any other way T> to accomplish this other than with the method you suggested? Why? Can you describe what additional functionality you need which you don't get from the above. If you want to specify the URL in a variable, try this: Command: ffurl=browserurl("firefox") More commmands box: do("C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe",ffurl) or the following should do the same thing: Command: exec.setbrowser("iexplore") More commmands box: do("C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe",browserurl) ________________________________________________________ Note: Exec.setbrowser("iexplore") only affects what will be considered to be the target browser by subsequent uses of the "browsrurl" function. It does not set iexplore as the Windows default browser, therefore the file association for URLs is unchanged, so you cannpt use the URL alone as a command, you still need to use iexplore.exe with the URL as its parameter. ________________________________________________________ T> BTW, I never saw my own post return here from the list. In the past, T> I have always gotten my own messages that I posted to the list. That happens to me very occasionally. Then, thinking my message has not arrived I send it again only to discover later that I have made a double posting. I guess it must be an occasional error by Yahoo. ------------------------ Yahoo!
